Our next Women’s Build is coming up in February 2024. Every 4th Saturday of the month is designated to our Women Build initiatives. Email our Volunteer Coordinator for more information.
Women’s Build provides a place for women to learn the skills needed to build a home. It’s an empowering time when women from all walks of life join together on the construction site or in the ReStores to help build homes, communities, and hope.
Any woman (and man) interested in learning how to build and construct a home is welcome to participate during our Women’s Build days.

Volunteering with Habitat Restores
We were excited to welcome the hardworking ladies from WingMom during our Women’s Build Day on May 7, 2022.
WingMom is a group of women and men dedicated to supporting busy individuals and families through an array of services for their homes and families. They will help with anything from grocery shopping to senior support to home organization and even laundry. And Habitat for Humanity of New Castle County was excited to partner with WingMom this Mother’s Day Weekend.
