Maybe Hollywood needs to take some notes. Just because female actors are over a certain age, doesn’t mean that they shouldn’t be cast anymore. It’s been this way for years, even the famous Bette Davis, already a star, placed an ad in Variety when the roles dried up, it read:
“Situations wantedwomen artists. Mother of three10, 11 & 15divorcee. American. Thirty years experience as an actress in Motion Pictures. Mobile still and more affable than rumor would have it. Wants steady employment in Hollywood. (Has had Broadway).“
To help Hollywood come to their senses, and to help you realize you’re attracted to GILFs, here’s a list that proves 60 is the new 30.
1. Sigourney Weaver
It’s hard to believe that the 6’0” statuesque Sigourney Weaver, who’s long Hollywood career spanned from her killing Aliens to befriending aliens in Avatar, is 65 years old.
2. Mary Steenburgen
The 62-year-old Steenburgen has an Oscar and Golden Globe for her work, but now she’s much more recognizable as a hilarious comedic actress. She’s appeared in favorites like Step Brothers, Elf, and The Proposal. Now, she’s set to appear in the new season of Orange is the New Black, and soon to be on FX’s drama Justified.
3. Helen Mirren
Mirren is 69, which is a perfect number for the notorious sexy leading lady. Her bikini pictures set the internet on fire, and she has a crush on Vin Diesel. She’s played the Queen to perfection, and she can kick butt too, as seen in RED.
4. Meryl Streep
Streep is often dubbed the “greatest living actress,” and for good reason. At 65, she’s been bringing the masses entertainment for 44 years, over which she’s received 19 Academy Award nominations and 29 Golden Globe nominations.
5. Alfre Woodard
How is it possible that Woodward is 62? She looks absolutely stunning. Woodward appeared in movies like 12 Years a Slave, where she played a former slave who had risen in the Southern caste system, and on TV shows like State of Affairs, where she plays the first female US President. She’s also a dedicated activist and philanthropist, she founded Artists for a New South Africa in 1989, a nonprofit that’s dedicated to combat the African AIDS pandemic and helped advance democracy and equality in South Africa.
6. Goldie Hawn
Goldie Hawn doesn’t get the credit she deserves as being an “It Girl” but also incredibly hilarious. In the ’60’s, the now 69 year old, was a regular cast member on Laugh-In, which lead to her popular film career.
She was quirky, cute with big eyes, and her comedic timing was on point. She was like the original Zooey Deschanel.
7. Glenn Close
The beloved Glenn Close, who starred classic American thrillers like Dangerous Liaisons and Fatal Attraction, films like Albert Nobbs and The Big Chill, and her hit TV show, Damages, is 68.
8. Wendie Malick
The former fashion model, and 64 year old, is now better known for her work on television comedies like Just Shoot Me and Hot in Cleveland.
9. Deidre Hall
At 67, Hall is best known for her work on Days of Our Lives, as Dr. Marlena Evans, a character Hall has been portraying for an astounding 32 years.
10. Tina Turner
Turner, who is now 75, rebuilt her career as an older woman who was still sexy and full of endless energy. And wigs. Glorious, glorious wigs.
11. Jane Seymour
Seymour, 64, is well remembered for her portrayal of the Bond Girl, Solitaire, in Live and Let Die, but we’ll always recall her soft-spoken voice as Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman, which felt like a warm cup of chamomile tea.
12. Sally Field
The Inside Amy Schumer sketch said it best about women in Hollywood when they mentioned Sally Field. She went from playing Tom Hanks’s love interest in Punchline in 1988, to playing his mom six years later in Forest Gump. Despite what Hollywood thinks about women, Field is still gorgeous at 68.
13. Olivia Newton-John
At 66, Olivia Newton-John is a four-time Grammy award winner, beloved star of Grease, and a dedicated activist for environmental and animal rights issues. She’s survived breast cancer in ’92, and started advocating for health awareness.
14. Phylicia Rashad
Ms. Rashad is a Tony Award winning actress, a singer, and a stage director, but she’ll always be the perfect mother figure, Clair Huxtable. Is it possible that she found the fountain of youth? We’d never believe she’s 66.
15. Dolly Parton
We honestly can’t rave about Dolly Parton, 69, enough. She’s one of country music’s biggest stars, her film work is both hilarious and emotional, and her Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library mails one book per month to each enrolled child from the time of their birth until they enter kindergarten.
16. Morgan Fairchild
What God did Morgan Fairchild pray to that let her stay this beautiful at the age of 65? The glamorous star built her fame by appearing on numerous soap operas, including Dallas and Flamingo Road.
17. Kieu Chinh
Chinh’s best known role is Suyuan in The Joy Luck Club, but her career spans long before that. She was one of South Vietnam’s best known personalities, and she stared in several American films, as well as an episode of M*A*S*H, “In Love and War,” which was loosely based on her own life story. Her exact age isn’t known, but she’s either 77 or 78.
18. Rita Moreno
Rita Moreno is 83. That’s not a typo, she’s 83, believe it or not. She’s also the only Hispanic who has won all four major annual American entertainment awards, the famous EGOT, Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony. And yes, she can still do the famous “America” dance from West Side Story.
19. Susan Lucci
She’s the highest-paid actor in daytime television for portraying Erica Kane on All My Children, and she’s the unbelievable age of 68. (Seriously, how is someone who is 68 in better shape than me?)
20. Diane Keaton
At 69, Keaton has acted in, directed, produced, and wrote an unbelievable quality of movies, including Annie Hall, First Wives Club, and Marvin’s Room.
21. Sissy Spacek
Sissy Spacek, known for Carrie and Coal Miner’s Daughter, and now for the Netflix original series, Bloodline, is 65.
22. Jessica Lange
Jessica Lange has had an incredibly career, but most new fans know her from her hugely popular television show, American Horror Story. The 66 year old is set to star opposite Shirley MacLaine and Demi Moore in Wild Oats this summer.
23. Christie Brinkley
The fact that the supermodel and actress, Christie Brinkley, is 61 is unbelievable and, quite frankly, unfair.
24. Susan Sarandon
Why would anybody cast Susan Sarandon as a grandma? Are you kidding? It doesn’t make sense! We don’t care that she’s 68.
25. Kathryn Bigelow
The Oscar Award winning director of The Hurt Locker and Zero Dark Thirty (and our personal favorite, Point Break) is 63!
26. Lauren Hutton
The model, who appeared on the cover of Vogue 28 times in a ten year period, more than any other model, is still gracing the world with her gorgeous looks at the age of 71. And her beauty inside matches, “We have to be able to grow up. Our wrinkles are our medals of the passage of life. They are what we have been through and who we want to be. I don’t think I will ever cut my face, because once I cut it, I’ll never know where I’ve been.”
27. Lynda Carter
Is it any wonder that Wonder Woman, Lynda Carter, is still wonderful at 63? (I apologize for that sentence, but I do not apologize for my love of Lynda Carter.)
28. Jane Fonda
The actress, and recent recipient of the American Film Institute AFI Life Achievement Award, Jane Fonda, is 77. She also has a new show, alongside Lily Tomlin, coming out on Netflix called Grace and Frankie, set to premiere in May.
29. Barbara Hershey
At 67, Barbara Hershey’s career has spanned 50 years. Recently, she appeared in Insidious and Black Swan, as well as on the show Once Upon a Time as the Queen of Hearts.

The iconic sex symbol is now 74. That’s right, you’re falling in love with a 74 year old. And it feels so right.
