I hope that the filmmakers behind Jurassic World weren’t preoccupied with whether or not they could ignore the events of The Lost World, but whether or not they should.
Jurassic World‘s director Colin Trevorrow will not be returning to Site B. That’s for sure.
According to a new report, the film will be a direct sequel to the original Jurassic Park.
I can understand them wanting to forget all about the telepathic Velociraptors in the third JP, but Roland Tembo, the martyrdom of Eddie Carr, heck, a Tyrannosaurus Rex on the loose in San Diego? Those moments are all… extinct?
Well sort of. Trevorrow admitted that the events of JW are not necessarily written out of continuity of the two movies immediately prior, but to the side.
What do you think of this move? Should we ignore the past? Are we forgetting about those people lost in San Diego? #NeverForget
